Places & Spaces
I’ve always had a particular interest in buildings, and the part of me that loved to draw imaginary castles as a kid never truly went away. Over the years I have cultivated a strong appreciation for the precision of form and the richness of history that can be found within every great piece of architecture. When I’m drawing, I’m often thinking about my own experiences of space, remembering how a soaring cathedral ceiling reminded me of my own smallness, or the way a set of well-worn front steps pointed to many years of welcome and friendship and try to evoke those feelings in my work.
